Once upon a time, there was a girl named Masha. One day her friends invited her to learn math in a Russian school of mathematics. She asked grandma and grandpa in Russian; "moshno ya poshla na etu shkolu? " Grandma answered: " You better take some Russian in their to improve your skills".
No, no , papa ,- the girl answered,- I want to learn how to think properly in order to make wise decisions in my adulthood. She came to her first class and was rushing from one math problem to another one, picking the right solution. Soon, she got lost and started thinking about her motherland, where she had never been before. She was looking out of the window and suddenly saw a bear . He came from the New York forest and was looking for food. He was very surprised that the girl in the building was not frightened and he decided to try her out, maybe she is very sweet. After entering the room, he felt the warmth of the loving air, which was dwelt in the room. "Girl, little girl,- the bear said,- would you go to my little hut in the forest and cook my meals. I truly do not want to eat any humane in Boston, this way you will save this beautiful city ?" Masha was thinking:" There are two choices: if I go, the city might be save, which is not 100 percent true, meaning to say false, if the bear lied, or stay in the classroom and refuse, then the bear will most likely eat me with probability close to 100 percent, and after me, he will eat my teachers and classmates, which is probably 50 percent true, because he will be full, unless he likes to overeat." This is a very good math logical problem, I will come home and tell my grandparents how math is helping me in real life. While she was thinking, and thinking, the bear took another girl and disappeared. This girl was never doing her homework and was not taught to think logically before she makes a decision. This is how math saved the girl`s life. She returned home and was taking RSM classes until she graduated from the high school, then she became a Harvard student and returned to RSM as a curriculum developer, where she was working happily ever after. The End!
